WELDERS HIT EAGLES FOR SIX
HW Welders hit Armagh City for six at Holm Park to make it through to the Second Round of the Bet McLean League Cup.
Dylan Davidson opened the scoring as early as the third minute when coolly chipped Daniel Devine after finding space down the left.
Despite that bright opening the next goal arrived just after the hour, one of three from Ross Arthurs when he was on hand at the back post to knock the ball home.
He added a third on 73 minutes after connecting with a cross from the left and claimed his hat-trick soon after a mistake in the home defence.
Alan McMurtry made it 5-0 on 89 minutes with a drilled finish into the bottom corner before, in stoppage time, substitute Chris McKay completed the scoring.
