Linfield fell to a four-goal defeat to Norwegian champions LSK Kvinner in their opening UEFA Women's Champions League group game in Brussels.

LSK, from Lillestrøm, grabbed all four goals in a blistering 18-minute spell early in the first half.

Elise Thorsnes kicked the scoring off after breaking the offside trap on nine minutes before fellow Norwegian international Therese Sessy Åsland knocked a free-kick past Lauren Perry on 22 minutes.

Thorsnes made it 3-0 just a couple of minutes later rounding off a well worked move with Meryll Abrahamsen finding the net not long after that with a deflected effort in off an upright.

Linfield are next in action on Saturday when they face Greek side PAOK before taking on group hosts Anderlecht on Tuesday.
