Knockbreda boss Colin McIlwrath has unveiled two major signings as he continues building his squad ahead of the forthcoming new season.

McIlwrath has signalled his intent by bringing Stephen Garrett and Cillin Gilmour to Breda Park, following on from his earlier acquisitions of Dylan Davidson and Craig Gardiner.

The vastly experienced Garrett needs no introduction. The 33-year-old winger arrives from Cliftonville for whom he picked up back-to-back Premiership titles and four successive League Cup winners medals during a highly decorated ten-year career at Solitude and joins 'Breda on a player-coach basis.

Gilmour, 21, makes the switch from Larne for his second spell at the club. He had previously spent time with Knockbreda on loan for the last few months of the 2018/19 season but now joins permanently.

'Breda have also signed Ross McCaughan from East Belfast.
