Linfield’s UEFA Champions League Preliminary Round qualifier against Drita of Kosovo has been postponed due to Covid-19 issues.

The game, originally scheduled to take place tonight (Tuesday), at 5pm at the Colovray Sports Centre in Nyon, Switzerland but was postponed an hour before kick-off due to at least one of the Kosovan team’s players testing positive for Covid-19.

Linfield will now wait for the feedback from UEFA’s Disciplinary Body as to their fate in the competition.

The winners of this tie were due to travel to Polish champions Legia Warsaw next Tuesday (18 August) in the First qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
