Linfield Ladies midfielder and Northern Ireland international Chloe McCarron has joined FA Women's Super League Birmingham City on a two-year contract.

McCarron, 22, spent three years at the South Belfast giants and helped the club to win three successive Danske Bank Women’s Premiership titles.

The central midfielder joined the Blues from Mid-Ulster in 2017 and won the club's player of the year award in the 2018-19 campaign.

McCarron did not feature in Linfield’s opening day Premiership victory over Crusaders last week ahead of her move to the English top-flight.
