Reece Neale will extend his spell at Carrick Rangers into a third season after agreeing new terms with manager Niall Currie.

The 22-year-old left-back made the switch to the Loughshore Hotel Arena from Ards in June 2018 and since then has clocked up 64 appearances, scoring three goals along the way.

Speaking to the club website, Neale said: "I’m extremely happy to be extending my stay with Carrick, the club has been good to me since I’ve joined and everything going on at the minute is only looking up. I’d love to be a part of it for as long as I can.

"The mentality of the club and players is superb and the squad is unbelievable to be a part of, so I’m looking forward to the next year or two, see what happens and try to push the club on as much as we can!"
