John Bailie has moved to strengthen his Ards panel with three signings ahead of the commencement of the new season.

The Ards boss has brought in Callum Ferris from Portadown. Initially on loan until January, the 19-year-old forward has represented Northern Ireland at U16, U17 and U19 level before making the breakthrough into the Under-21s last season.

Daniel Devine also makes the switch from Portadown. He joined the Ports during the January transfer window, but only managed three appearances before the curtailment of the season. The 25-year-old keeper also made 12 appearances for Armagh City last season and has been twice named 'player of the year' at Holm Park.

The third player to arrive at the Bangor Fuels Arena is Darius Roohi. Still only 22, the striker has picked up bags of experience with Lisburn Distillery, PSNI, Warrenpoint Town, Knockbreda and, last season, Spanish club Rayo Brunete C.F.
