Institute boss Sean Connor has strengthened his panel by signing former Northern Ireland youth international Conor Quigley.

Quigley, 22, was most recently with Ballymena United making 23 appearances for the Sky Blues in a couple of years at the club.

But the left-back spent a large part of his career in cross channel football before returning to these shores, including spells Dundee, Forfar Athletic and Stirling Albion. Prior to that, as a youth, he was with Liverpool and Swansea City.

Connor was pleased to get his man: "I’m delighted to get Conor in, he’s a good, quality player," stated the Institute manager.

"He’s technical, he has the age profile we are looking for and the experience we are looking for so I’m really happy to have him in.

"He's a local lad with a great attitude and he’s totally raring to go now because he has missed so much football last season."
