Larne midfielder Fuad Sule has agreed a two-year contract extension with the club.

The 23-year-old arrived at Inver Park a couple of years ago on loan from Barnet before making the move permanent. This new deal sees him pledge his future to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Such has been his impact, he was recently named a supporters club 'player of the year' for his efforts during Larne's first season back in the top flight.

Boss Tiernan Lynch was delighted to have extended his stay in East Antrim.

"Fuad was already contracted until next summer but it is a sign of the faith we have in him and his progress at the club that we wanted to ensure his stay is even longer than that,” he told the club website.

"Fuad signing the new contract is also a great sign of faith on his behalf as well, showing that he really believes in what we’re doing. We have no doubt that other clubs would have been very interested in him if his contract was to run into its last six months, so this gives everyone certainly and allows us to press on."
