Luke Wade-Slater has been announced as Barry Gray's fourth summer signing at Warrenpoint Town.

The 23-year-old arrives at Milltown after spending last season with Larne during which he made 14 appearances. Before coming to the Irish League the Dubliner spent almost two years with Bohemians after returning home from playing in England for Stevenage and Kings Langley.

Gray expressed his delight at securing the midfielder for the coming season, telling the official club website: "Luke is a player that I have spoken with several times over the last 18 months, we were very impressed with him this time last year but unfortunately he opted for a full-time contract at Larne.

"However, this time round we are delighted to have secured his services. Luke is a player we feel will slot right in with how we want to play this season, he’s high tempo, pace to burn and loves breaking lines.

"Luke will be a massive addition this season and will no doubt give us great options in our attacking play."

He follows fellow Larne team-mate Conor Mitchell in making the move to Milltown.
