The NI Football League has welcomed the confirmation of financial support to the league and our member clubs from the Sports Sustainability Fund.

Sincere thanks go to the NI Executive, particularly the Committee for Communities, and Sport NI for listening and acting on behalf of our needs throughout this process. In addition, thanks also the Irish FA for the administrative support through the application stage.

The purpose of the Sports Sustainability Fund has been to deal with the economic consequences of the health pandemic to March 2021. This provides welcome immediate support, however the financial challenges still remain for our member clubs in the current climate.
