Three Cliftonville Ladies players found the net as Northern Ireland Women secured an impressive 4-0 victory over Latvia on Tuesday night in their World Cup qualifier.

Reds trio Louise McDaniel, Kirsty McGuinness and Marissa Callaghan were all on target for Kenny Shiels' side, along with Rachel Furness as all goals came in the second half.

The result at Windsor Park ensured Northern Ireland continued their perfect start to their World Cup qualification campaign, having defeated Luxembourg at Inver Park on Friday.

In total, nine Danske Bank Women's Premiership stars were in action, including six from the start.

McDaniel, McGuinness and Callaghan were joined by Glentoran trio Jackie Burns, Chloe McCarron and Kerry Beattie in the starting lineup.

Glens duo Danielle Maxwell and Caragh Hamilton - the latter returning to the international fold following a year on the sidelines - were second half substitutes, alongside Cliftonville defender Kelsie Burrows.

Glentoran and Cliftonville players combined expertly on international duty but will resume their club rivalry ahead of next week's crucial league match in East Belfast.

The two go head-to-head in a match which could go a long way to deciding the destination of the title.

Glentoran lead Cliftonville going into the final two rounds of action courtesy of their superior head-to-head record.
