Glentoran striker Conor McMenamin picked up his fifth international cap on Friday night as Northern Ireland lost narrowly to Denmark in Copenhagen.

The 27-year-old came on with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining for Liverpool's Conor Bradley, and attempted to make an impact with a number of crosses into the area as Northern Ireland chased the game.

McMenamin made his debut just over 12 months ago against Cyprus in the UEFA Nations League. He lined up against Kosovo a few days afterwards before playing over an hour against the Cypriots again later that same week.

He was next called up for the qualifier in Greece in September but missed out on the more recent games against San Marino and Finland through injury.

Larne frontman Lee Bonis was also named in Michael O'Neill's panel for Friday's game but wasn't given a place on the bench.
