BROWN AND DOBBIN RESCUE POINTS FOR BALLYCLARE

After a scrappy opening period the visitors grabbed the lead in the 28th minute when Ciaran Ryan rose highest to power in a header from eight yards after getting on the end of a free kick played into the box.

Ballyclare levelled just before the hour through Gary Brown when his header from a perfectly delivered Samuel McIlveen free-kick went into the bottom corner.

Then, on 71 minutes, JB Dobbin followed up to slam the ball into the roof of the net after Conor McCorry had saved a Corey McMullan penalty awarded after a foul on Brown.
