McCARTAN BAGS GLENTORAN DOUBLE
Shay McCartan bagged both goals as Glentoran defeated Crusaders at the BetMcLean Oval in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Scoreless at the break, Jude Winchester came closest to finding a way through when his run and cross from the left saw the ball strike the far post.
The deadlock was broken just two minutes into the second half when McCartan threw his body at a Rhys Marshall cross to the near post to direct the ball past keeper Jonny Tuffey.
Then, just six minutes after that, the former Northern Ireland international doubled his tally with an well executed 25-yard free-kick that Tuffey couldn't stop from entering the net.
