Crusaders Strikers ran out convincing five-goal victors at Derry City, who remain at the bottom of the table after three rounds of matches.
Morganne Beggs was on target for the Strikers before the break after Derry held out for the opening 35 minutes.
Amy McGivern doubled the visitor’s lead three minutes after half-time before Emily Wilson then netted a brace in the second half with the experienced Julie Nelson also on the scoresheet.
The Crues were dominated throughout - Lisa Armour hit the post on 11 minutes and their pressure told ten minutes from the break as Beggs followed up on a Danielle McDowell free-kick after a great initial save from Derry goalkeeper Clare Friel.
McGivern doubled the advantage with a half-volley from outside the box while Wilson produced two composed finishes either side of Julie Nelson’s lofted finish.
The result means Crusaders are one of four teams at the top of the league on six points after three rounds of matches.
