Knockbreda defeated HW Welders at Tillysburn Park to maintain a glimmer of hope of making the top six split.

'Breda are five points adrift of Loughgall, who currently occupy sixth spot, but with a game in hand over the Villagers with two left to play.

David Fearon opened the scoring for 'Breda after just ten minutes before Jordan Baker doubled their advantage midway through the first half.

Scott Davidson pulled one back for the Welders in first half stoppage time but, just a couple of minutes after the break, Fearon struck again - this time from the spot - to restore the two-goal cushion for Lee Forsythe's side.
