Adam Buchanan (54)

Dergview gave their hopes of avoiding the relegation play-off a boost with this defeat of Larne at Darragh Park.

The only goal of the game came nine minutes into the second half through Adam Buchanan's superb strike, his fourth of the campaign, and despite facing considerable pressure throughout the home defence produced a backs to the wall performance to protect their slender advantage.

Peter Allen's side remain in 11th spot going into the last game of the season, locked on 33 points with Knockbreda but with a slightly inferior goal difference.

Both sides are at home this weekend, Dergview hosting PSNI while Knockbreda welcome Limavady United to Breda Park with whatever side finishes second bottom on Saturday afternoon facing the Premier Intermediate League runners-up in order to retain their place in senior football.
