The Welders squandered any lingering hopes of making the top six following this draw at home to bottom of the table Annagh United.

David Rainey handed the Welders the advantage at the break after knocking the ball beyond the reach of 'keeper Ciaran Fox.

But they were pegged back again during the opening exchanges of the second half when Aaron Duke cancelled Rainey's strike out.

Rainey might have salvaged all three points in the closing moments but could only look on as his late chance whistled past an upright.
