FIRST HALF GOALS GIVE EAGLES THE EDGE

The Eagles needed just three minutes to seize the advantage when Ultan Lennon converted from the spot after Nedas Macuilaitis had been brought down in the box.

Then, on 21 minutes, Jake Keegan made it 2-0 with a long range finish past Gavin Cusack.

After the break Stefan McKenna might have added a third only to turn the ball against the crossbar.

However, Annagh did well in an attempt to salvage something from the game and duly pulled a goal back just after the hour mark through Gareth Rees but the visitors held on to ultimately claim the points.
