Emmet Friars grabbed a stoppage time winner for Limavady United after HW Welders thought they had secured a point with a late leveller at Tillysburn Park.
The Welders had a great chance to go in front as early as the fifth minute when Scott Davidson flicked the ball into the box from the right which Luckas Gwiazda met with a header only to see Connor Brown tip it over.
Limavady had the ball in the net soon after but this was ruled out offside, but they only had to wait until the 11th minute to open the scoring when Hugh Carlin's first time strike from the edge of the box flew past Ryan Brown into the top corner.
The Welders might have levelled on the stroke of half-time but were thwarted when Gwiazda's header direct from a corner came off the woodwork before being cleared to safety.
And they came close again after the break through Craig Harris but his fantastic strike from outsde the area was tipped over just when it seemed destined for the top corner.
Finally, right at the end of normal time, it looked like they have levelled when substitute Alex McIlmail knocked home the rebound from close range after David Rainey's initial effort had been parried.
But, deep into stoppage time, Emmet Friars bagged Limavady's winner when he pounced to stab home the loose ball after Aidan McCauley's shot from the edge of the area had been turned away by the keeper.
