Jordan Hughes’ hat-trick sealed a Dundela comeback as they shared the points with Ballyclare Comrades.

The visitors took at early lead when Jordan Hughes coolly finished off a swift Dundela counter attack with only four minutes on the clock.

The Comrades recovered from the early setback and equalised on 32 minutes through Adam Gray and he finished from 15 yards.

Into the second half and it was first blood to Ballyclare Comrades as Samuel McIlveen’s corner was headed in at the far post by Adam Wright on 52 minutes.

12 minutes later the home side doubled their lead when winger Thomas Robinson’s dangerous ball across the face of goal which Dundela defender Matty Parker agonisingly turned into his own net.

With little over a quarter hour remaining, the East Belfast side rallied as Jordan Hughes reduced the deficit finishing with ease on 74 minutes.

The Championship’s leading marksman, Hughes, found a later equaliser on 86 minutes as he headed his and Dundela’s third of the afternoon to complete the comeback.
