Larne moved to almost within touching distance of securing the Bluefin Sport Championship title with victory over Dundela at Inver Park.

The league leaders needed just 12 minutes to open the scoring through David McDaid who coolly beat Jonathan Sergeant after getting on the end of Martin Donnelly's free-kick.

It was 2-0 midway through the first half when Ben Tilney rounded off a slick team move with a curling finish into the bottom right from around 15 yards.

Then, with nine minutes remaining, McDaid completed the scoring with his second of the game, a close range tap-in after Tilney had played the ball into the box.
