Bottom of the table Annagh United picked up a vital point with this draw at home to title chasing Institute.
'Stute might have moved in front as early as the second minute when Gareth Brown found a way through the home defence only for 'keeper Eoin Hughes to prove equal to the challenge.
Kevin Deery's side also went close in the scoreless first half with long range strikers from Aaron Harkin, Sean McCarron and Sean Roddy.
But it was struggling Annagh that seized the advantage eight minutes into the second half when a poor Daryl McDermott backpass left 'keeper Marty Gallagher stranded before Ben Eagles got the final touch to nudge the ball over the line.
Skipper Stephen O'Donnell got Institute back on level terms on 66 minutes after he was quickest to pounce on the loose ball following an Aaron Harkin free-kick that had been parried by Hughes.
And he struck again seven minutes later in similar circumstances, this time after Alex Pomeroy had seen his initial effort blocked by the home 'keeper.
However, Annagh weren't to be denied a share of the points when, with three minutes to go, Jake Richardson somehow managed to squeeze a free-kick past the visiting defence into the bottom left corner.
