With a strong low sun hampering players, match officials and spectators, the opening exchanges were competitive and somewhat scrappy.
In line with that the visitors took the lead on 31 minutes when, following a corner, the ball came off the crossbar into a muddy six yard box and with 'Breda failing to clear the ball was smashed into the net from two yards by the visitors number 9 Mark McCabe.
'Breda came close to an equaliser on 40 minutes with a fine effort from just outside the box by Kyle Mackie which went narrowly past the post.
Just after the restart 'Breda again came close when, after a good passing move, Nathan McVeigh, curled a great effort just over from 18 yards.
Home 'keeper Jason Craughwell kept 'Breda in the game on 75 minutes with a great save low down from a close range shot.
'Breda sub Curtis Dempster came closest to squaring things up in the last ten minutes when he first of all took the ball round the keeper but from a wide position, his shot was blocked by a defender and the visitors again escaped when the same player was one on one with the keeper and his effort went just over.
Nothing much between the two teams with the visitors holding out to take all three points.
