Stephen Murray brought his goal tally for the season to six with two late strikes as Warrenpoint Town defeated morning leaders Larne at Milltown.

He converted from the spot on 84 minutes in a penalty awarded for an off the ball incident before completing the scoring in the closing moments after connecting with a cross from Aaron Traynor.

Traynor had fired 'Point into the lead a couple of minutes from the break at the back post after the Larne defence had failed to clear a set piece.

Indeed, it was an explosive finish to the first half. Not long after both sides were reduced to ten men when Kyle Buckley and Darren King were dismissed by referee Jamie Robinson for violent conduct.

And there was still time for Chris Rodgers to level for the visitors with a powerful header beyond Steven Maguire.

Barry Gray's side regained the advantage with 20 minutes remaining courtesy of a Liam Bagnall finish after Traynor had the laid the ball off.
