WARWICK CLAIMS MATCH BALL AS PORTS CRUISE TO WIN

Gary Warwick helped himself to a hat-trick as Portadown swept to a comfortable victory over Loughgall.

Adam Salley opened the scoring for the Ports after eight minutes with a looping header from Chris Lavery's free-kick.

Warwick added a second after a quarter-of-an-hour with a well executed long free-kick past Gareth Buchanan.

The Villagers pulled a goal back seven minutes from the break through Warner Mullen's glancing header from Dale Montgomery's cross.

Then, three minutes into the second half, Warwick restored Portadown's two-goal cushion after reactly quickly to the loose ball after Salley's initial shot had been saved.

Salley might have added another after that only to strike the post from a free-kick before, on 76 minutes, Warwick claimed the match ball with a confident finish.
