Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League side Armagh City have accepted the resignation of manager Joe Kerr.

The move comes as Kerr ends his two year tenure at Holm Park after securing the Eagles’ league status after two wins in their final two league games, eventually finishing 10th in the third tier.

In a statement on the club’s social media, Chairman John Hynds stated; "I've known Joe for many years having played with him a long time ago, and I know how much time and effort he put in while manager - a task made all the more difficult given the need to build a team from scratch when he took up the reigns.”

“The club thanks Joe and wishes him all the very best for the future".

Kerr’s final game in charge of Armagh City was the 2-0 win over Annagh United at the Tandragee Road on 27 April.
