Wakehurst withstood a late Annagh United revival to claim a maximum return from this visit to Portadown.

Although scoreless at the break Annagh will feel they should have had the game sown up with no fewer than three goals ruled out for offside combined with the heroics of Wakehurst's 15-year-old 'keeper Aodhan Tolan.

However, it fell to the visitors to break the deadlock when, on 68 minutes, Conor Gregg converted from the spot after his initial effort had been handled.

Then, four minutes after that, George Young made it 2-0 after showing great composure to take the ball round 'keeper Ciaran Fox.

But Annagh hit back with an 85th minute consolation from Francis McCann before suffering the dismissal of Fox following a challenge on Conor Gregg outside the area.

Undeterred, they then levelled two minutes into stoppage time when Matthew Paget beat Tolan to earn, what they thought, would be a share of the spoils.

The visitors had other ideas, though, when Andy McLaughlin beat the offside trap to slot home the winner in the fourth minute of added time.
