A Mark McCabe hat-trick saw Newry City record a second successive away win.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring after 23 minutes when he was quickest to react after Dundela 'keeper Jonathan Sergeant failed to deal with a long ball delivered to the edge of the area.

The Duns levelled nine minutes into the second half through Mark McClelland after the ball came back off an upright to fall perfectly for him to drill beyond Peter Murphy.

Then, a couple of minutes after that, Jamie Jackson fired the home side in front with a superbly executed 25-yard drive into the roof of the net.

But back came Newry and McCabe's second on the hour after he beat one defender before firing beyond Sergeant's reach into the top corner.

And he grabbed what proved to be the winner six minutes later when, again, he was first to pounce after Tomas McCann's free-kick on the edge of the area wasn't cleared by the home rearguard.
