Newington ensured their Premier Intermediate League status with victory over Annagh United at Tandragee Road.

The points, coupled with Donegal Celtic's draw at home to Sport & Leisure Swifts, ensured safety for Conor Crossan's side with two games remaining.

Steven Park fired Annagh in front after 17 minutes but the Swans hit back through Joe McDonnell and a Conal Burns spot-kick to take the lead going into the break.

Liam Bracken made it 3-1 just after the hour, before Mark McAllister brought United back into it with a penalty on 71 minutes although Bracken did strike again soon after to restore Newington's two-goal cushion.
