Portstewart completed a clean sweep of victories over Armagh City this season with this two-goal defeat of the Eagles at Mullaghacall.
Luke McDowell, who grabbed the winner the last time the sides met in February, opened the scoring for the Seahawks as early as the fourth minute.
Despite this early setback City pushed hard for the equaliser but couldn't find a way past the home defence.
This trend continued into the second half when, again, the visitors enjoyed most of the possession albeit without an end product.
This inability to make their time on the ball count cost them with just over a quarter-of-an-hour to go when Ryan Doherty doubled Portstewart's advantage to ultimately secure the points.
Both sides ended the game with ten men following the late dismissals of Johnny Stewart and Padraig Judge for violent conduct.
