SWIFTS HIT BACK FROM THREE DOWN

Ten-man Sport & Leisure Swifts fought back from three goals down to earn a point from Dollingstown's visit to Glen Road Heights.

Adam Patterson opened the scoring for the visitors on seven minutes after being teed up by Keith Johnston.

Then, after half-an-hour, Leisure's Gavin Johnston turned the ball into his own net whilst attempting to head clear at the back post before Dollingstown's Johnston added a third with a lob over keeper Colum Carroll.

Trailing by three goals and suffering the dismissal of Pierce Tully, Swifts hit back on 65 minutes through Liam Carland following a period of pressure.

Ronan Carroll then cut the deficit further on 70 minutes with an effort from distance, with substitute Ciaran McKissock then levelling six minutes after that when he connected with a long throw.

Dollingstown were reduced to ten men themselves right at the end when Richard Thompson was shown a straight red card for serious foul play.
