Conor Gregg (52)

Mark Teggart (19)

Ten-man Banbridge Town returned to competitive action after three weeks to earn a point from this clash with Wakehurst at Mill Meadow.

Banbridge grabbed the advantage after 19 minutes after a good passing move involving Conor Downey, Ally Wilson and Mark Teggart set up a chance for the latter, then a cleared follow up for Martin Buchanan before Teggart finally finished past 15-year-old home 'keeper Aodhan Tolan.

The visitors continued to press with Shannon Drainey seeing a header cleared off the line before Downey fired wide from close range.

The chances continued early in the second half with Wilson twice coming close.

But, on 52 minutes, Wakehurst levelled against the run of play when Conor Gregg burst through the defence to lift the ball over 'keeper James McConville.

Town were reduced to ten men with 20 minutes remaining when Buchanan was dismissed for foul play.

Wakehurst almost took advantage not long after when Roy Colville saw a header cleared off the line by Stephen Jones.

At the other end Teggart might have nicked the winner for Banbridge late in the game after he was played through by subtitute Neil Watson.
