INSTITUTE RESERVES - DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE NORTH CHAMPIONS

Institute Reserves were crowned Championship Development League North champions on Saturday.

Sean Friars's Under-20 squad retained the Development League North trophy on Saturday with a 1-0 home win against second placed Dundela II.

Dundela had pushed Institute all the way in the league and had given themselves a fighting chance last Wednesday night when they defeated the Champions 4-1 at Wilgar Park.

Institute won an impressive 18 games out of 22, with only losing two games all season. They also scored an impressive 82 goals (an average of nearly four a game) as they completed a league double for the North West side, with the senior team having won the Bluefin Sport Championship.
