'STUTE TOO STRONG FOR ARDS
Institute picked up a first win in three outings with a two-goal victory over Ards at the Brandywell.
Both goals came either side of the break, although 'Stute might have gone in front after a quarter-of-an-hour when Dylan King hit the crossbar from a header and Cathair Friel sent the rebound over.
But Friel went one better in first half stoppage time when, from Cormac Burke's left-sided cross, he nodded past Alex Moore into the top corner.
'Stute then doubled their lead on 49 minutes to secure the points after Jamie Dunne's corner caused problems for Moore with Burke getting the last touch as the ball rolled over the line.
