Ballinamallard United boosted their hopes of making the top six with a two-goal defeat of Institute at the Brandywell.

Then, three minutes after that, Joshua McIlwaine doubled the lead from a free-kick, while Patrick Ferry might have added a third late on only to strike an upright.
