WELDERS GO GOAL CRAZY
Brandon Doyle bagged a hat-trick as HW Welders hit seven past Ballyclare Comrades at Dixon Park.
Tiarnan O’Connor needed just four minutes to open the scoring after making the most of a defensive mix-up, before Doyle doubled up a quarter-of-an-hour later from ten yards.
Michael Morgan pulled one back for Ballyclare soon after, but a second for Doyle followed by a ferocious Dylan O’Kane effort was the Welders stretch their lead.
The scoring continued with Morgan’s second of the game before the break, with O’Kane also hitting his second after the hour.
However the match ball was eventually to go home with Doyle following his hat-trick goal on 70 minutes, with David Parkhouse coming off the bench to complete the scoring soon after.
