LATE DUFFY DRAMA AT DIXON PARK
It was the late, late show from Institute who scored two goals against Ballyclare Comrades to earn a point from their trip to Dixon Park.
It all started brightly for the Comrades who took just 16 minutes to find their feet in the game, with Brian Healy scoring the first goal after Michael Morgan had cut the ball back.
Ballyclare Comrades doubled their lead on 23 minutes when Alan McMurtry fired home, and they took that two goal cushion into the interval.
Suddenly Institute came back into the game on the hour mark, as substitute Mikhail Kennedy won and subsquently converted a penalty for the visitors.
The game looked all but wrapped up with ten minutes to spare as Michael Morgan lobbed Fintan Doherty following a long clearance to restore the two goal lead for the Comrades.
Then Institute fought back as Oisin Duffy scored twice in the final minutes to stun the home side and earn 'Stute a unlikely 3-3 draw as the final outcome.
