SEASIDERS LAY DOWN HUGE MARKER
League leaders Bangor moved nine points clear at the top of the Playr-Fit Championship following victory over second placed Limavady United at Clandeboye Park.
The Seasiders moved in front on 12 minutes after Tiernan Mulvenna whipped in a cross from the left for Ben Arthurs to power a header past keeper Martin Gallagher.
Bangor looked to double their advantage as the first half progressed with Kyle Owens coming closest only to be denied on the line.
Arthurs might have bagged his second of the evening in the closing moments of the game only to strike the crossbar after lifting the ball over substitute keeper Richard Purcell.
