CLIFTONVILLE 3-1 LISBURN DISTILLERY

GEORGE McMullan handed Cliftonville the early advantage when, on three minutes, he touched the ball home after a Ciaran Caldwell effort had come back off the base of a post.

McMullan might have doubled his tally just two minutes later with a long range effort which beat Billy Brennan only to hit the woodwork.

The Whites levelled on 66 minutes through Andy Hunter who finished at the far post after an initial effort was palmed away.

But this spurred Cliftonville to push on and turn their dominance into further goals on 74 and 82 minutes.

Substitute Joe Gormley, only on the pitch four minutes, made it 2-1 when he got on the end of a John Connolly clearance to beat both a defender and Morgan.

And another sub, Marty Donnelly, made sure of the points after he brought the ball forward down the left before lobbing it over the advancing Swifts 'keeper.
