Philip Donnelly grabbed a hat-trick as Warrenpoint Town swept past Glenavon at Mourneview Park.
Both sides created early chances with Seanan Foster firing over the bar before, at the other end, Rhys Marshall was denied only by an Anton Reilly block after Stephen Murray had delivered a ball into the box.
Then, moments later, the ball dropped for Alan O'Sullivan but his shot came back off an upright.
The chances followed with Josh Daniels finding Stephen Murray but he could only skew his effort well wide before Andrew Mitchell tested Berraat Turker with a low shot through a crowded area.
But the deadlock was broken on 40 minutes when Donnelly swept the ball past Jonathan Tuffey after O'Sullivan delivered a cross to the near post.
Donnelly added a second four minutes into the second half when he raced clear to convert after O'Sullivan charged down a Caolan Marron pass.
And Donnelly claimed the match ball with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when he was quickest to react when Johnny Tuffey had blocked an O'Sullivan shot.
Daniels did craft a late consolation for Glenavon when, with three minutes left, he showed some nice footwork to create space inside the area and squeeze a low shot home at the post.
