Crusaders hit five without reply past Warrenpoint Town at Seaview to maintain their high scoring start to the season.

Jordan Owens fired the Crues into the lead as early as the fifth minute, slamming the ball home at the back post after Billy Joe Burns had crossed from the right.

Number two arrived on 12 minutes when Paul Heatley delivered a cushioned header into the bottom corner while, six minutes after that, Jordan Forsythe rifled home from the right to extend the home advantage.

Gavin Whyte added to the scoring on 37 minutes with a right-foot spot-kick awarded after Declan Caddell had been brought down inside the box.

Crusaders' fifth then came on 66 minutes through substitute Michael Carvill's poked finish after Forsythe had flicked the ball on.
