HEATLEY DOUBLES INSPIRES CRUES BACK INTO SECOND

CRUSADERS moved back into second spot with a Paul Heatley inspired defeat of Warrenpoint Town at Seaview.

Darren King might have fired Warrenpoint in front as early as the third minute with a superb 25-yard half-volley which Crues 'keeper Sean O'Neill did well to tip over.

For the Crues Gary McCutcheon came closest on 24 minutes with a header from an Eamon McAllister cross which Jonathan Parr comfortably palmed away.

The deadlock was broken on 64 minutes after a Chris Morrow through ball released Heatley to fire into the roof of the net with his first touch.

Warrenpoint suffered a further set back six minutes later when Stephen Moan was dismissed by referee Tim Marshall for a challenge on Heatley.

And Heatley struck again with eight minutes remaining to secure the points for the Crues when again, after one touch, he clipped the ball beyond the reach of Town 'keeper Parr.
