THE Crues started brightly, coming close in the early exchanges through Timmy Adamson who turned the ball onto an upright despite being one-on-one with 'keeper Billy Brennan.

But the visitors went a goal down on 22 minutes when skipper Colin Coates put the ball past his own 'keeper whilst attempting to clear a Mark Patton cross from the left.

The Whites also struck the woodwork in an open first half when a Patton left-foot drive grazed the outside of a post.

Crusaders levelled eight minutes after the break through David Rainey who ran onto a long ball down the left to knock the ball through the legs of Brennan.

And Stephen Baxter's men moved in front 15 minutes later through Stuart Dallas who got on the end of a long Gareth McKeown throw-in to turn the ball home at the back post.
