Dungannon Swifts defeated Institute by the odd goal in three in what was the final home game of the season for Kris Lindsay's side.
The first half produced limited opportunities in what was a largely forgettable 45 minutes with 'Stute producing the best of what chances were created.
Swifts keeper Alex Moore was forced into action on 17 minutes to block a Paul Smith effort while, after half-an-hour, he made a confident stop to deny Stephen Curry.
However, the deadlock was broken in Dungannon's favour nine minutes after the break when Daniel Hughes finished off Jarlath O'Rourke's corner at close range.
The visitors levelled three minutes later. Moore had initially stood tall to keep out a Joe McCready effort but he could do nothing about Ronan Wilson's perfectly weighted lob.
Johnny Lafferty went close to restoring home advantage only to clip the outside of the post after turning well in the box.
But Dungannon's winner eventually came with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when substitute Paul McElroy slotted home from the spot after Ryan Morrow was adjudged to have handled a Michael Carvill cross.
