Andrew Mitchell twice found the net as Glenavon came from behind to beat Warrenpoint Town at the Q Radio Arena.
Alan O'Sullivan fired 'Point into the lead after just 11 minutes with a smart finish on the rebound after Fra McCaffrey's initial effort was blocked.
Warrenpoint held the lead until just after the half-hour mark when Glenavon hit them with two goals in quick succession.
Mark Sykes levelled with a drilled effort beyond Jonathan Parr after Johnny Tuffey's long goal-kick was nodded into his path by Mitchell.
Then, three minutes after that, Stephen Donnelly edged the visitors in front with a back post finish thanks again to Mitchell who held off a defender to create the opening.
Mitchell got on the scoresheet himself on the stroke of half-time with a tap past Parr after he had been played through by Andy Hall.
Warrenpoint pulled a goal back with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when he rose highest to meet an Eamon Scannell corner to direct a header past Tuffey.
But Mitchell popped up again a couple of minutes after that to restore Glenavon's two-goal lead and complete the scoring with a simple finish into an empty net after Parr came out of his box in an attempt to deal with a ball into the area.
