The NI Football League in partnership with Danske Bank this week brought together three world leading sports technology companies for an insightful Football Technology Seminar at the Mervyn Brown Suite.

As part of Danske Bank’s support to assist the development of clubs as small businesses the event welcomed managers, coaches and analysts from NI Football League clubs alongside students and interested parties from other sports.

The seminar posed the question ‘How is technology changing the future of football?’ with expert presenters discussing how their cutting edge technology could be accessed at a local level. The companies represented were;

- Avenir Sport who demonstrated elite level match analysis;

- INCISIV Tech who presented on the use of Virtual Reality to study decision making

- STATSports who showcased their work in GPS and on-field performance monitoring and analysis

Speaking about the event NI Football League’s Steven Mills, “We are always keen to look at ways we can support our clubs and the Football Technology Seminar was a fantastic learning and networking opportunity.”

“Over the last few years, we have worked with Danske Bank to provide a number of off field workshops to encourage improvements at club level and expanding into on field learning was well received by our clubs.”
