Ten-man Warrenpoint Town fought back well to secure a point from Glentoran's visit to the Q Radio Arena.

'Point might have opened the scoring early on only for Fra McCaffrey to see his point blank header well saved by Elliott Morris while Eamon Scannell turned another effort onto the crossbar.

Glentoran took the lead after a quarter-of-an-hour with a John Herron bullet header at the back post from Ross Redman's corner from the right.

The visitors almost doubled their advantage soon after from Curtis Allen's close range left foot effort but he was thwarted by keeper Aaron McCarey.

Warrenpoint suffered a setback early in the second half when Danny Wallace was dismissed for a foul on Herron, picking up his second caution of the game as a result.

But, with 11 minutes remaining, Warrenpoint levelled after Alan O'Sullivan sent the ball over from the right side of the area for fellow substitute Ciaran O'Connor to slot home.
