GLENTORAN surrendered the last unbeaten record of the campaign with this reversal at Seaview.

Jordan Owens fired the Crues in front on seven minutes with an effort from the right edge of the area after meeting a long ball out of defence.

Owens struck again on 35 minutes with a close range finish following a Gareth McKeown throw-in from the right that was knocked back into the area by Gary McCutcheon.

After the break Sean Ward might have pulled one back for the Glens when he turned a shot onto the base of an upright.

And soon after Andrew Waterworth came close only for Sean O'Neill to tip his effort over for a corner.

Colin Nixon also forced the Crues 'keeper into a finger-tip save while, at the other end, McCutcheon curled an effort wide before - in the closing moments - Owens almost grabbed his hat-trick but was thwarted by Elliot Morris.
